On friday 17th november we won another award when we attended the awards ceremony at the engine shed. huge achievement for us all here at the plough!

We won ‘Best Restaurant’ in the England’s Business Awards 2023.

We won the National Award for Best Licensed Premises.

As a small team, this is a huge achievement for us and we are incredibly proud to be nominated and then to win the award is an incredible feeling. We would like to thank everyone for their support and to everyone who voted for us.

We came from a background of filming business competitions for local councils and the government. As we did this the idea for an independent cross boundary competition came into being. With its guiding principal being that it remain independent of all bodies and organisations with no sponsors and existing only to serve the competition.

 We have a far more engaged local and national audience than other business award competitions through our regional qualifying stages then annual Grand Final. Nominated by the public, we take time to meet business owners and managers personally in their place of business which sets us apart from many other business award competitions who will never even set foot in your premises then go on to claim they have “assessed” your business. Our competition was designed by talking to local businesses and finding out how they wanted it to be managed and it continues to evolve -
